The Deglet Noor dates are well known for their outstanding flavor. The fruits are sold fresh juicy or dried.

The tree has narrow trunk diameter and long leaves with a little curvature, the foliage's color in grey-green and the spines color is yellow-green. The fruitstalks are very long and colored in orange-yellow.
